Bike routes to campus

Here are preferred bike routes that different WATS members are using to get to Campus and around town. Do you have corrections, tips, own routes to add? Email us at wats@uwo.ca!

Register your bike to help against theft

There are more than 700 reported bike thefts per year in London with ~100 of them occurring on Campus. To help prevent bike theft, please register your bike with Project 529 Garage, a free, smartphone app/online bike registry uniting cyclists and law enforcement in a community effort to reduce bike theft. Western is an official partner of 529 Garage, so you can register and receive tamper-resistant 529 Garage "shield" stickers for your bike for free. For more information, see here.

Report an cycling infrastructure issue to the city

A unswept bike lanes? Does a traffic light refuse to trigger for you as a cyclist? Large, dangerous potholes on the side of the road? Please help by being active and report the issue to the City through the City of London's service request website. We know - issues regarding cycle lanes or traffic lights are not even a option to choose from. Report them anyway and send us a copy of your request to wats@uwo.ca, so we can follow up!
